Child Safety Standards
Last updated: 3 July 2026
Hey Duggu is designed for children and has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), grooming, predatory contact, sexualized content involving minors, or attempts to obtain a child's personal information.
Standards
- No CSAE, CSAM, grooming, sexual solicitation, or sexualized content involving minors.
- No instructions or encouragement for a child to hide unsafe contact from a parent or trusted adult.
- No requests for child photos, address, school, phone number, location, passwords, OTPs, or private-chat migration.
- No targeted advertising or commercial profiling of children. Limited learning, usage and safety information is used only to provide and protect the service.
- AI outputs pass through required safety checks before they are shown or read aloud.
- Children and parents can report AI answers in-app.
In-app reporting
AI answers shown in the learner experience include an in-app reporting option. A report records the answer reference, learner reference, reason and review status. Everyday chat text is not added to the report.
Incident handling
Serious reports and automated safety alerts are sent to authorised reviewers and handled under our child-safety process. Where required, Hey Duggu may report a matter to the appropriate authority, including under applicable child-protection law in India or another relevant country.
